(From 1995, not from 1955!) As Gizmodo's story noted, this case involved wealthy horse owner Silas Jayne. He wasn't the murderer, but the murderer worked for him and he decided to cover it up (burning the stable, as noted).<br /><br />Jayne was rich, powerful, influential, ruthless, and scary evil.
