She wasn't at her best in "The Brave One," where she bought a gun off the street in NYC after being rejected in a gun shop because selling her one is illegal without waiting periods, background checks, etc. Immediately I knew we were in a fantasy film, which was confirmed by the way she physically beat up big strong men who were ex-cons.
