A year or so from now I'd put it in Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (symbol: FAZ). Mimics 300% of the inverse of the performance of the Russell 1000® Financial Services Index. The Fed bubble is gonna burst, and I'd like to have a real choice to protect it.

I'm a big fan of Ken Moraif, a huge proponent of the buy-hold-sell strategy. (It's galling how so much conventional wisdom is invested in buy-and-hold. That line of thinking makes a portfolio a ship without life boats.)AlanKHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00415873942467466303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-50021616184710614592013-09-21T00:57:49.754-06:002013-09-21T00:57:49.754-06:00You might also be able to roll over the 401K into ...You might also be able to roll over the 401K into an IRA and be subject to different restrictions.Mauserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11732614352398473302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-61353401246443681992013-09-20T22:02:28.134-06:002013-09-20T22:02:28.134-06:00Yep - IRA's are a tax trap - you can get bitte...Yep - IRA's are a tax trap - you can get bitten.

They seem to be predicated on the idea that you'll have less income when retired. This is definitely in the "talk to a good tax adviser" territory, but apparently what gets taxed is only the life insurance payout when you die.Anthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12389602137217799305noreply@blogger.com
