The actual problem may be the other side - the plug, rather than the socket (try bending the spring tabs out) but if you can open the case, how hard can it be to replace the socket? At worse, two wires, They are easily available from any auto parts store, WalMart, etc..

Being a Ham, I'd have installed the more or less universal Anderson Power Poles, but thats what Hams do.Fidelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14623013337654868540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-44262715948272259492021-08-07T14:21:00.461-06:002021-08-07T14:21:00.461-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.B https://www.blogger.com/profile/10586046436233366155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-79036252463266880912021-08-07T13:34:31.690-06:002021-08-07T13:34:31.690-06:00I gave up using a battery for my mount several yea...I gave up using a battery for my mount several years ago. If your mount is in reach of an outdoor extension cord, get a power supply used for ham radios and use that. Many of them have 12VDC (cigarette lighter-type) outlets.Stan and Mary McQueenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07100706948187567071noreply@blogger.com
