If you have a rough or dirty surface, try some #0000 steel wool. Be careful, since it deteriorates and scuffs the surface fairly rapidly. <br /><br />I'm a buffer fan, too - the process takes so much less time. Just awkward getting it into some areas, and if the surface has a lot of stains, the steel wool really helps.<br /><br />We use California Custom polish.
