Sets up quickly and holds amazingly well.
I fixed the rubber 'skid plate' under my toyota.
You can buy it at Wal*Mart in the shoe department.Idahodianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12399245980554270242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-13973308003098323682021-08-31T15:49:09.757-06:002021-08-31T15:49:09.757-06:00Not a photog, but hot glue? Not a photog, but hot glue?Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07576197256589251065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-86564376643744777732021-08-30T02:59:38.741-06:002021-08-30T02:59:38.741-06:00Very possibly hot glue, that's what my aunt us...Very possibly hot glue, that's what my aunt used to use when I was a kid.RevGreghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11627218929198779685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-75526996163763420812021-08-29T12:40:51.456-06:002021-08-29T12:40:51.456-06:00A dab of hot glue, or clear silicone sealer will d...A dab of hot glue, or clear silicone sealer will doFidelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14623013337654868540noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2807403883562053852.post-80824242875063124632021-08-29T12:28:09.277-06:002021-08-29T12:28:09.277-06:00I've seen a couple of methods of attachment. ...I've seen a couple of methods of attachment. Some lens caps that come with a leash have a hole, thread a loop of the thin part of the leash through the hole then the rest of the leash through the loop. Add on leashes have a 3/8 or so plastic dot. Most have elastic that goes around the lens so the leash stays with the lens.

My method--all my usual lenses have either 58mm filter threads, or a step ring to adapt them up to 58mm. I use a retractable badge leash attached to the 58mm cap, the other end clipped to the camera strap. Since it's the same size cap for all my lenses the whole thing can stay put, I move the cap from the lens I just put on to the lens I just took off. This way I can just flip the cap off and let go, the cap won't be dangling and getting in the way. Sevesteenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10167315201563562644noreply@blogger.com
